Brand StrategistJon McNamara

Jon McNamara was born in Syracuse, New York and studied Media Arts and Design at James Madison University. He began his career working as a Strategic Communications Analyst for the Chief of Public Affairs of the U.S. Army at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. While at the Pentagon, Jon worked as part of a team that produced a variety of communications products for the Army including exhibits, collateral materials, website and videos.

In 2007, Jon left the Pentagon to take a position with a Midlothian, VA based non-profit organization that focused on helping chronically ill patients find access to health insurance. He served as the organizations Associate of Marketing and Development, where he shouldered a variety of responsibilities including fundraising, graphic design and brand management.

Jon is a diehard fan of all things NY and JMU sports. He serves as a rep for the JMU Duke Club, where in 2008 he was named Rookie Rep of the Year.
