About the Process: Pure
Culture Consulting, Inc. wants to be a value-added partner
to our clients. We strive to create a cause and effect relationship
between our work and your results. We are alignment
specialists. At the end of the day, we want our clients
to be totally satisfied with our work and feel that we have
generated a return on their investment. Everything that we
do is ultimately driven by our desire to help align the competencies
and culture to the strategies of the organization. Every consulting
relationship is unique and will take on a different shape
depending on the needs of the client.
Typically, the first phase of a contract is Discovery.
Discovery can best be characterized as a health assessment
or “alignment check-up.” One of our team will
utilize appropriate assessment tools (survey, interview, observation)
to uncover strengths and vulnerabilities within the organization
and then present the results. We will follow the symptoms
much as a medical doctor would during an annual physical.
The breadth of the discovery will depend on the needs and
size of our client. It could be as little as a series of interviews
or as much as an organizational audit of all employees. We
are equipped to handle either. We operate our own dual server and survey tracker software (see www.pureculturesurvey.com).
The second phase of a consulting relationship is Diagnosis.
It is during this phase that we share with our clients our
findings, thoughts, and observations. This can be a stressful
phase because at times the feedback will involve data that
is difficult to hear. It is during this phase that our consultants
will offer recommendations or interventions required to solve
the findings. Our recommendations may be very simple or extremely
bold. Our commitment to our client and the organization is
to speak the truth about what we find.
The third phase of a consulting relationship involves Implementation.
It is during this phase that all the variables for an initiative
come together. We would work closely with the senior team
of the organization to create the appropriate conditions for
successful execution. This process will be highly collaborative.
A key element of the implementation phase is for all parties
to have a clear understanding of the deliverables. As such,
key performance measures would be established to evaluate
the results on an ongoing basis. Listed below are a few examples
of interventions that may be conducted by a member of the
Pure Culture Consulting team during the implementation phase.
Visioning Workshops:
This process involves leading the senior team and organization
through a collaborative process to identify a vision, core
strategies, and team values.
Growth Planning: We will help the senior leadership team create a collaborative long-range plan that will help the organization achieve profitable growth.
Executive Team Building:
One of our seasoned consultants will lead the
senior team of an organization through a process to help
build healthier working
relationships so strategies and goals can be more effectively
accomplished.
Leadership Seminars:
Our client may have decided on a core strategy such as
customer service differentiation. Yet, we may find in Discovery
that the leaders of the organizations are not behaving in
a way that is consistent with that strategy. The process
would involve aligning leadership behavior with strategy.
Performance Management: We can create custom-designed performance management systems that embed the strategies and core values in the fabric of the organization.
Talent Management: The
organization may possess a senior team member who is behaving
in a dysfunctional way. We can help work through the process.
360 Feedback Assessment: We craft custom-designed 360 assessments utilizing our survey maker software and Pure Culture Consulting survey website.
Organizational Redesign: At times,
altering the structure of the organization may be the best
way to respond to a new strategic initiative. We will work
with the client to collaboratively design the most appropriate alternative.
We have many more interventions in our tool chest. Organizations
function very similarly to the human body. When the team becomes
tired and worn out they become susceptible to disease and
dysfunction. Even a strong, healthy culture can break down
from time to time. Our job is to help develop and execute
interventions that are aligned with the strategies of the
organization to create high performance on an ongoing basis. |
